domestic policy and its affects on the black community.
This is a work from my National Government class where I define what domestic policy is and the steps to enact it. A lot of people, such as me before this project, don't know a lot about domestic policy, I made it a goal to educate people here. I also employed countless examples of how domestic policy has and is affecting the black community. I displayed this project to show how influential domestic policy truly is.

This is a project from my African American Studies class where I interviewed an older black woman and asked her about her run-ins with racial experiences through life. I looked at these experiences from a social, economic, political, traditional standpoint. I also emphasized the contrast in experiences as she moved to different places. This was important to me because you can see that major events in our history are not that far removed.

This project was on the state constitution where you're from and the legislation that can still possibly lead to racial discrimination. Within the Minnesota constitution there is a statute that allowed for the creation of a highway where seen fit. However this led to the construction of HWY-94 right through Rondo, a prominent black neighborhood in St. Paul. At one point I actually lived in this neighborhood and still live relatively close.
